Dr. Nihal Nanda

I am a Specialist Physician/General Medicine with a special interest in Diabetes, Endocrine, and Geriatrics care.

I came to Australia in 2001 from Bangalore south India. I re-trained in the Australian health system and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2013.

During my years of training I have been fortunate to work at some of the larger tertiary centres in Sydney, in particular St Vincent’s and Westmead as well as numerous other metropolitan hospitals. During this time, I have gained a wealth of experience in the NSW health system which has been invaluable to my career.

After arriving in Armidale in February 2012, I immediately felt connected with the community. Because of this, it was an easy decision to stay and set up my private practice.

I also hold outreach clinics in Inverell and Tenterfield for the older and less mobile patients.
